Here comes the final season of  the American serial drama series Lost commenced airing in the United States  and Canada on February 2, 2010. The premier of LOST TV Series final season was the first to climb in the ratings year over year since the 2nd season , capturing 12.1 million viewers. Lost final season continues the stories of the survivors of the fictional September 22, 2004 crash of Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 on a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the 1970s. The cast features 15 major roles with star billing : 11 return on the fifth season , 1 returns from the 4th season after a year's absence , and 3 are new regular cast members. Connections between the two universe are explored  more thoroughly as the series progresses and we do ultimately get a resolution to the flash-sideways storyline.

Much like flash-backs and flash-forwards , we experienced this parallel universe through a series of "centric" flash seideways featuring the lives of these characters as if the crash never happened.
